Jin Shin Jyutsu® SELF-CARE workshops introduce a series of hands-on applications that participants can easily learn and apply to enhance their general health and well-being.

 

Jin Shin Jyutsu® SELF-CARE practice addresses harmony of total being and can be introduced in a workshop setting for large and small groups.

 

Jin Shin Jyutsu® SELF-CARE can also be tailored to address specialty topics, such as stress reduction, pain management, recovery, and mental and emotional well-being. Jin Shin Jyutsu® SELF-CARE compliments and integrates with other mind-body practices, such as yoga, meditation and breathwork.

Our Services

Jin Shin Jyutsu® Self-Care is an easy-to-learn, energetic, mind-body-spirit practice that uses a combination of breathwork and light touch. This dynamic practice is used in hospitals, schools, companies and other institutional settings.Jin Shin Jyutsu® Self-Care and topical workshops are experiential. Michael, a certified Jin Shin Jyutsu® Practitioner and Self-Care Instructor, will introduce Jin Shin Jyutsu® philosophy and guide you and your group through simple, restorative exercises to use on yourself and others. Learn how to reduce stress, relax the nervous system, rejuvenate, and achieve a greater sense of balance, harmony and personal well-being.    

Some Workshop Examples:

Balancing our Emotions with our Fingers.

It is understood that there are 144,000 body functions in our fingers. In JSJ we associate each of the 5 fingers with a particular Emotion or "Attitude", including Worry, Fear, Anger, Grief, and Pretense.  Additionally, these emotions are associated with energies in the body that affect us physically and mentally. In this class I provide an introduction and overview of these concepts while leading students through 5 corresponding self-care sequences that harmonize and bring into balance these 5 emotions.

Harmonize from Head to Toe: The Main Central Vertical.

 The Main Central Vertical is a 6 step sequence that is relaxing, all-encompassing and brings harmony and balance to the whole person.  In this class I provide an introduction and overview of the Main Central Vertical sequence while leading students through the 6 step sequence.

A Daily Practice for Harmony and Balance:  Learning the Mediator and Supervisor Self-Care Sequence.

The Mediator and Supervisor Self-Care Sequence works with the Main Central Vertical self-care sequence to help keep one in balance and harmony.  In this class I provide an introduction and overview of the Mediator and Supervisor Self-Care sequence while leading students through the 3 part sequence.
