Jin Shin Jyutsu®, an ancient energy art often referred to as "acupuncture without the needles", is a holistic mind-body balancing and harmonizing practice that uses light touch on various energy centers in the body to help restore, maintain and optimize the flow of life-enhancing energy throughout your body. It elicits the relaxation response; calms the nervous system; helps tone the body and mind; and decreases symptoms of discomfort, anxiety, stress, nausea, and fatigue among other health and wellbeing concerns.​​​​​​​

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM A JIN SHIN JYUTSU® SESSION?

During a Jin Shin Jyutsu® session the receiver remains clothed and lies face-up on a cushioned surface. After a personalized assessment and listening to the energy pulses in the wrists, the practitioner employs a harmonizing sequence, or "flow," appropriate for unblocking energetic pathways and restoring physical, mental and emotional harmony and balance.

 

A "flow" is a series of hand placement combinations that stimulates circulation of energy along a given pathway. There are many such pathways in the body, each with a distinct function and essence. The experience of Jin Shin Jyutsu® is unique to each person during each session.

Clients most commonly experience deep relaxation. At the end of each session the practitioner provides clients with a simple self-help flow or set of flows unique to them that they can adopt and integrate into their health and wellness routine.
